Other than London, Bristol is currently the largest city in the south of England. However while it's not an obvious holiday destination, there are still lots of things to see and do in this historic city, and it has really improved itself in the last ten years or so.
For shoppers there is the new Cabot Circus shopping centre, which has over 120 different stores and many top names including the likes of House of Fraser, Apple, French Connection, Lacoste and Harvey Nichols.
