Argentina : By February, the country is reaching the end of its summer, but temperatures stay consistently around the 30 degrees C mark, with rainfall tending to come in short, sharp bursts.

Spanish is the native language, making the country appeal to regular visitors to this part of Europe, but you will also find English widely spoken.
With the wet and windy weather in the UK putting a dampener on the plans of many people wouldn't we all like to get away from it all and spend some time on a superb cruise liner in warm and sunny climates? The answer is surely going to be yes and the good news is that there are some brilliant deals available to some of the nicest destinations in the world.

Cruise The Ocean Shores

I am sure we would all like some sunshine this winter and if you are one of the many people looking for some winter sun then there are plenty of options available. The usual holidays people choose involve flying to a destination spending one or two weeks there then flying home. For some people this is perfect as you can just kick back and relax but for others who want to see more than one destination and like to fill a day with plenty to do and see, there are cruises.

Life Onboard The Cruise Ship

Cruises are a special kind of holiday with so much on offer to all holidaymakers boarding the cruise ship.As well as some of the most amazing destinations the world has to offer, your cruise holiday enables you to make the most of your time aboard the ship with plenty of things to do.

The Perfect Winter Getaway

The British weather is well-known for its wind and rain as well as below zero temperatures. This winter has been one of the coldest for many years and produced snow and ice like never before. And it boasts fabulous food greatly influenced by those renowned gastronomes, the Italians. Add all this up, and it's easy to see why Croatia is fast becoming a favourite destination among holidaymakers seeking the best value, but unwilling to compromise on their quality.

Whether your idea of a perfect holiday is flaking out on a golden sandy beach or by the pool, or wandering around museums and galleries taking in the local history, Croatia can satisfy your needs.
In past years it has been seen as a preserve of the jet-set, with hotels and facilities geared towards the top end of the market. The opening of the latest incumbent of the title of the world's tallest building, the Burj Dubai, in January 2010 once again focused attention on the city. With more than 160 inhabitable floors, it is more than twice the height of New York's Empire State Building.
But these dramatic figures were skewed by the fact that the biggest contributor to the overall decline was business travel, hard hit by the worldwide economic downturn.

So does this indicate that the days of the foreign holiday are numbered? Certainly not!
The Office for National Statistics suggests that the downward trend bottomed out towards the end of 2009.
Fuel price rises and airlines' growing adeptness in finding new ways to squeeze extra money from their passengers have all left big dents in our holiday purses, and led to a growing number of travellers seeking alternative ways of reaching their destination, and even changing their plans so that a no-fly holiday is more feasible.

And when you consider that we are all going to come under increasing pressure to fly less often for the environment's sake, maybe 2010 could be the year for a renaissance in the old maxim of the journey being just as important as the destination.
