Sunshine is in St. George

There is nothing better than being outdoors on a perfectly sunny day. Well there is one thing that could make it better- that day being in the middle of winter.

This is what St. George, Utah, is known for. Here in the south-western end of Utah the sun makes a year-round home.

Instead of going away for a depressing couple months, the sun stays to provide year-round outdoor activities to the residents.

Summer is Magic in St. George

There is something so magical about the summertime when the sun is a constant addition to the sky. The kids are out of school and friends and family always want to get together.

Everything is warm and the outdoor world is finally accessible. It is difficult to go to bed because the nights are so warm and friendly and it seems everyone is enjoying all hours of the day.
The winter months can be dreary and dull for many. The sun seems to hibernate as the cold comes in at an intense speed and rate.

Not many places can escape this season despite residents' desires for warmth and outdoor recreation. Because of this, it is a rare find when a city successfully escapes this harsh weather and provides a sunny haven during a typically bland season.

It is Great to Live in St. George

Nothing feels better than sunlight after a long and cold winter. When that sun comes out and stays during the day it seems the entire world is happy.

People are excited about the possibilities summertime brings. They are no longer limited to indoor activities but can get outside and be adventurous.

The sunshine is a welcome addition to any day which makes the summertime so special.

The end of summer is always a melancholy time. People are preparing for the upcoming winter and reflecting on the fun they had during those sunny months.

It is something we must all face because the weather changes and so do our lives. We think about how nice it would be to live in a constant summertime but we are unsure about how easy that would be to find.

The Sun is Shining in St. George

For some reason sunlight has this ability to transform your mood and make every day better. As soon as that snow starts to melt and the rain finally stops people emerge from their wintertime hideouts and enjoy the outdoors.

Learning the History of Hot Air Ballooning

On September 19, 1783, the first hot air balloon was launched. It was called, Aerostat Reveillon.

The balloon was launched by a scientist named, Pilatre De Rozier. The passengers of the Aerostat Reveillon, included a sheep, a duck and a rooster.

The balloon was able to stay in the air for a grand total of 15 minutes before crashing back to the ground.
