What first comes to mind when you hear the word "Adirondack"? If you're like most people, you probably thought of the Adirondack chair. However, there's much more to the area than Adirondack chairs.

The Adirondack region, located in the northeastern part of upstate New York, is an overwhelmingly beautiful part of the Appalachian Mountains.

Now that summer's knocking on the door it's time to dream of an enchanting vacation away from the big city hustle and bustle. What can be better than staying in a rustic Adirondack mountain lodge, being able to step out the door in order to swim, canoe, kayak, or go row boating on a nearby clear mountain lake and then return "home" for a hearty meal?
