The allure of Tiburon, California, is one that draws more and more tourists every year. Many people have heard of the famous Marin County, California, but not as many have heard of the town of Tiburon. Tiburon is an incorporated town on the Tiburon peninsula and in Marin County. Hamilton Field, located in Novato, California, is a place that has a very interesting history. Hamilton Field used to be Hamilton Air Force Base, but the base was decommissioned in the 1970s. Hamilton Field is now the general name given to the area that had previously served as a military base but has subsequently been renovated into a vibrant and one of a kind area in Marin County.

Lucas Valley, California is a town in Marin County of 6,357 people (as of the 2000 census) and is most well known as being the famed home of George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch. While Lucas Valley is the proud home of Skywalker Ranch, contrary to popular belief George Lucas did not found Lucas Valley. The history of this town goes much further back.
