There are many more than five reasons, but I thought I would keep it simple.
For those that don't know; Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, and is located close to the west coast of Africa.

Most of the year (if not all), Fuerteventura has an average temperature of between 20-25 degrees Centigrade, but in the summer months of June to September, this can shoot up to 30-35.

Plenty of companies in Fuerteventura and the other Canary Islands own and rent properties to holiday-makers & vacationers from other countries as well as the mainland Spanish. And the main nationals that visit the Canaries are Germans, Brits and Irish.
Now this seems like a tiny section of the world's many varied countries. And there is a very simple reason for this: only a few countries have direct flights to the Canary Islands; and the runways are a little short for the bigger planes at the moment.
