Around 8 million people call the Big Apple home these days, but are you considering taking a trip there any time soon? If not, you might want to consider it. New York City is one of the most vibrant cities in the United States and is a center of global commerce. If there was ever a city that never sleeps, New York City is definitely it. With 8 million people, I guess it's to be expected that someone is always going to be out and about.

Variety. I guess I would say that is the main reason that so many people come to live in California from all over the United States in the world. Since the gold rush back in the 1800's, people from all over have flocked here for a variety of reasons and movies out of Hollywood always seem to have a young girl or boy or a couple dreaming of moving to California.

California has long been a top vacation destination for tourists. Everyone goes to Los Angeles and Hollywood because of the really popular places that there are to see. Then there is the breathtaking beauty and historical allure of San Francisco. No one can deny that these are all great places to visit when you are in California. A beautiful city that may not be talked about as much, but is also well worth visiting, is San Diego.

It is also one of the most visited places in the south when people are vacationing. The reason for that is because of all the fun things to do and great places to see.

If you want to visit a truly Southern city that is growing leaps and bounds in size and cultural activities, then you might want to consider Nashville Tennessee. It is in the real heart of the South and has many different interesting and fun things to do, see, and hear. The city itself is lovely and there is no big city anywhere that will try harder to make you feel right at home.
