Greece can satisfy even the most demanding of its visitors. It has beautiful scenery and great man made establishments, it has sea but also mountains, it has archaeological sites and night clubs as well, it has crowded areas but it also has nice and quite places. The best of all is that all these are not far away from each other. I don't think its an overstatement to say that Greece is a traveler's paradise.

Greece is quickly making itself known as a need-to-visit tour site. With its excellent all-season climate, beautiful landscapes, and great tourist spots, visiting Greece is truly a no-brainer. In ancient times, it was the center of modern democracy, culture, and the arts, and it retains this high status even today. Being a city of both ancient influences and modern conveniences, Greece is sure to have something in it for everyone.

Chios is known as the fragrant flower of the Aegean and is located in northeast Aegean Sea of Greece and is the fifth largest of all the Greek islands, sitting just five miles from the Turkish coast. Chios is a mountainous island with its highest peak Pelineo.

Chios not traditionally a tourist favorite is gaining a reputation as an island sought by package tourists, with crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches and good facilities.

The island of Mykonos, Greece, has had the world's imagination captive for more than four decades, it it's appeal isn't showing signs of waning. The draw of the island used to be its cosmopolitan way of life, with its luxury hotels and vibrant night life, but now it is much more than that.

There is much to enjoy about Mykonos, but a word to the wise about timing: Avoid travelling mid-July through August.

The island of Mykonos is part of the Cyclades, a group of islands nestled in the southern and central Aegean Sea. In recent years, Mykonos has positioned itself as a trendy place to visit, rivaling even some of the swishiest locales such as Capri or Hawaii. The island's recent fame is thanks in part to the fact that some of the world's most beautiful people have been flocking here, including Madonna and Mick Jagger.

The more famous tourist beaches can be found around the southern coastlines of the island. The most famous of these southern beaches are Paradise and Super Paradise. These are beautiful beaches suited for young clubbers. The beach setting is very much like paradise but not the type of paradise for a fun family picnic. There is music blaring from huge speakers.

As the sun sets on Mykonos famous DJs flock to its numerous beach bars and renowned clubs. On top of all this Mykonos is a gay-friendly resort area which is packed with lots of gay clubs which are open for partying during the summer.

The serious partying for both tourists and natives of Mykonos starts around 11 at the Skandinavian Bar and Disco which happens to be one of the toppers among the World's Best Bars.

Mesta is located southwest of the town of Chios. Dating back to medieval times, it is a preserved castle village and a wonderful place to explore a way of life that no longer exists in any other part of the world. The homes of this village were built as a wall to protect the village and its inhabitants.

The people who live in this village have managed to preserve the flavor and heart of it by embracing the history and sharing it with visitors to this unique location.

Mykonos, a white-on-white flower-covered jumble of cubed buildings and flowing, cobbled streets that practically sweats with crowds June through August, is the most popular Greek isle in the world. It is a classic jet-set playground where mega yachts, myriads of ferries, helicopters and planes offload 15,000 visitors a day. From models, magnates, rock stars, Formula1 drivers, international superstars, heads of state, multimillionaires to regular everyday folk the ultimate Greece experience is pretty much perceived as Mykonos.

On the south-west part of Chios forgotten by time lays the medieval picturesque town of Mesta one of the world renowned "Masticochoria" - the only villages in the world where the fragrant mastic trees grow. Mesta is a magnificent magical town untouched by the passage of conquerors, a beautiful page right out of a fairytale.

An ancient fortress built to protect against the savage raids of pirates, Mesta is an assortment of two and three story stone houses connected by cobble stone lanes and interconnecting arches.
