Planning your Trip to Bali
Many people dream of traveling to somewhere exotic like the island of Bali and renting a Bali villa for the duration of their vacation. Bali is exciting and beautiful and a wonderful destination for families and couples. There are many Bali villas available but there is also invariably a waiting list. Choosing to rent a Bali villa is a very popular option among many tourists. Of course there are both advantages as well as disadvantages to bear in mind when you opt for self-catering accommodation.
Let us begin with -
Advantages
* In Bali there are many Bali villas available for short term leasing. Because of that there is a wide selection of sizes, styles, and locations to choose from. This will help to find one that is the right size, situated nicely, and in line with your budget. After all, when you rent a Bali villa you want one that is going to be comfortable and close to the sights.
* When you opt for self-catering accommodation you also have the added assurance of privacy and independence. Nobody will enter the premises for any reason while you are there.
* You can entertain guests at your Bali villa and even accommodate them overnight. Some will even provide extra beds if needed.
* Since self-catering accommodation means that you have a fully functioning home-away-from-home, you can enjoy preparing your meals yourself if you prefer not to dine out.
* Renting a Bali villa is also a rather affordable option.
Disadvantages
* When you rent self-catering accommodation you have to take care of your meal times yourself. There is no room service available. This means dining out or preparing your own meals.
* You will be responsible for keeping the place clean while you are there as there is no room-cleaning service. So, if your guests make a mess, you will be the one that has to have everything cleaned.
* There is no staff on hand if you run into problems. Unlike in hotels you cannot complain to management because you did not get fresh towels.
* You will need to take care of the laundry as well as there is no laundry service.
* Sometimes the depiction of the Bali villa in online photo galleries is not entirely accurate. For instance, the photo might imply that you will have access to your very own private swimming pool. In reality the pool is shared by other guests who enjoy making a noise well into the night when you would rather be sleeping!
For many people the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. This is evidenced by the fact that the self-catering Bali villa is very popular among tourists. In fact, short term rentals for vacationing purposes is fast becoming one of the preferred choices in many parts of the world and in most tourist hot-spot destinations. The greater sense of independence, coupled with the replication of living as close to the way the locals do, make self-catering apartments, villas, etc. a great choice. They are ideal for a group of friends, a family, or for the couple on honeymoon.
