Caravans are always great fun for holidays and they can last years when bought brand new. There are endless possibilities of times and weekends where you can just vacate your home and go on a mini break when you have your own caravan.

There does however, come a time when you no longer have a use for a static caravan, and you are in the need of buying a new one or get rid of the old caravan.

Making a caravan appealing is something that needs to be done in order to get someone interested in buying your caravan. Here are some hints and tips in order to help you in selling your static caravan.

Get the caravan clean. By making your caravan spotless will ensure that the person looking into buying your caravan will feel like the caravan has been looked after well and kept in good condition. If you have a caravan that smells of animals or smoke, this can be very off putting to who ever would be interested in buying your caravan. Dust or dirty floors and greasy kitchen appliances should all be cleaned. The bathroom is one definite area you will want to clean up on, as it should be the cleanest place in the caravan. A dirty bathroom is not an appealing one.
Make the caravan smell good. By making a homey smell can really help to interest people and give a good feeling about a caravan. This can either be by baking smells from the oven, or by air fresheners. These can help to get rid of some of the horrible smells you may have in your caravan, and replace them with fresh and luxurious smells instead.
Make it look liveable. Caravans are second homes to people, so try and populate your caravan with pictures of some of your holidays with the caravan. Have flowers, and things around that make it look like it can be liveable. Get the beds dressed in covers, and fill them with pillows and natural colours to make it look clean. Hang pictures on the wall or get mirrors on the walls. This can help to make the caravan look and feel bigger than it is. Caravans are not very big, so maximising the space as much as possible is important.

Maximise the space. You do not always have a lot of space in caravans, so making the most out of them will help to get people more interested in your caravan. Arrange the beds and furniture where it can give you the most floor space. If you have extra chairs for your dining room, then get fold up chairs that you can store easily, or even hang on your wall.

By implementing these changes will help to make your caravan more appealing, and can even help you to get the price you want for your caravan.
